Summer-Fall internship Opportunity 

Position: Virtual intern

Project: Event and Festival marketing promotion
Location: Virtual
Duration: June-October 2025
Commitment: 15-25 hours/week (Flexible schedule)
Compensation: 

• Volunteer hour as community service 

• Stipend or scholar will be offered base on experience

Texas Women Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women through cultural exchange programs, educational workshops, and community events such as the McKinney Asian Festival, tea ceremony show cases, and hands-on creative workshops

Intern Responsibilities

• Supporting event and festival planning and coordination

• Assisting with social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Redbook and LinkedIn), digital marketing, and outreach

• Helping designs promotional content (flyers, posts, newsletters)

• Coordinating volunteers and communicating with partners

• Researching sponsorships, grants, and community partnerships

• Providing administrative and creative support to program leads

• Monitor engagement and respond to audience comments and messages

• Track performance metrics and suggest improvement

Ideal Candidate

• High school senior, college student (with marketing background is a plus)

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting

• Comfortable with Canva, Microsoft 365 and social media platforms

• Interest in nonprofit work, cultural programming, or community events
